Why we exist

Your health is not a business model. Health apps should be built for people not for profit. Free forever, privacy-first, and open to everyone.

The Open Health Collective is a non-profit association established under Swiss law. We bring together developers, healthcare professionals, and patients to create better digital health solutions for everyone. Our mission is to provide mobile health apps to the public, free of charge, open source, and accessible to all.

What we hold to

Four commitments, in writing.

These aren't marketing. They're the rules the association is bound by, and you can hold us to every one.

/cost

Free, always

No paywalls, no subscriptions, no premium tier for basic care. If it costs money to use, it isn't ours.

/code

Open by default

Every line is public and auditable. You can read exactly what an app does before you trust it with your health.

/data

Yours to keep

Data lives on your device first. Export it, move it, or delete it. No account to close, nothing held hostage.

/governance

Run in the open

Roadmaps, decisions, and finances are published. The association is a non-profit accountable to its members.

A collective needs more than code.
